I also have a Meyer lemon, not sure what I'm doing with that yet. Lemon bar? Lemon mousse??

My son and J took me to Texas Roadhouse Grill for dinner and everything was very good. I had grilled salmon, mashed potatoes and gravy, a side salad with ranch dressing and of course their dinner rolls with plenty of their special butter. Daiquiris, Margaritas and Hurricanes to drink, a couple sips of everything everyone else was having - they humor me like that. After dinner we went to their place for coffee and had homemade from scratch vanilla cake with buttercream frosting for dessert. I had such a great time.

J took me out to a diner because we were too tired to cook after spending all day in the kitchen making Christmas candy for friends and relatives. I had the same thing I always get whenever we wind up there – burger dip with cheese, a side of tomato slices and a side of potato salad. This time though I had pop to drink instead of coffee. No dessert because as we were making our candy we were sampling the candy.
