Yesterday I
- tried to take over the world (again)! (Poik!) playing Civilisation V
- played The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt rather too much and got a bit of cramp from using my mouse too much
- had a nice salmon-flavoured thing (I forget what they're called) for dinner
- generally relaxed to start off my three weeks away from college
- read some web cartoons I like (and found out about arXiv from xkcd - very useful!)
- watched an old TV program about cats (cute and scary how much lions are like moggies! 8-} )
- not much else

Today I must
-get some milk
-wash up the crocks in the sink (umm.. I need to stop letting them pile up!)
-start on finishing my research proposal so I can email it in on Monday
-make sure I do some exercise and get back into a routine with it
-start getting back into good routines generally
-finish writing a letter
-confirm a dinner date with an old friend

And I'm having a think about whether maybe if I rearranged stuff in my flat it'd be a bit easier to look after it. I'm hoping over the winter break I might be able to find a bit of time to work on some poem/lyric ideas I've had over the last few months.

Having some pumpkin pie filling topped with whipped cream. I had some left over after making pies so poured into custard cups and here I am while waiting for the pies to set.
