Last night my 6 year old nephew came home from playing with a little girl from next door. She walked him home and I opened the door. My Nephew introduced me to her. “ This is my Aunt. She is HILARIOUS. And she smells good “. So funny. Then his friend played for a bit and went to go home. My nephew stayed on the couch while she got up to leave. So I coached him to see her out. So he walked her home. After she had walked him home. So sweet.

This butterfly would not leave me alone. Flying in circles around me and for a long time. At first I was like wth go away! Then I accepted it and yeah smiled like ok you win.

There's a movie version on Amazon too... interesting to see a different "interpretation" of her diaries.

the spread I bring for the Final Exam for my class went over extremely well. My students were shocked it was all for them. I even got to call the teachers down for extras. (brownie points for that one)

I work at home full time these days. But every now and then it's requested that I come into the office usually to do a photoshoot and today was that day. It's always so fun when I go into the office anymore because I rarely do but it's also so lovely to be respected for the 'other' part of my life that I've managed to combine with that which pays the rent. I'm a lucky woman.

And The Bronx Tale tonight w/ a cheap bottle of red.
