The great Womyn's Music artists like Alix Dobkin, Msg Christian, Teresa Trull, Alive, Cris Williamson all in concert at the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival before the bitter trans wars, but during the Separatists vs the Leatherdykes.
Working at the Fest during the tension. Rules like if they caught a woman at a play party, you could be banned from working. Also, women not permitted to work their shift if they had on a black bandana or handcuffs hanging from their belt loop. If you had to take a sick or injured women to the Womb (healthcare tent), you had to check yourself to make certain you weren't wearing any "forbidden" items. |
