I'm going to Holidays in the Plaza, at the town square. I'll be bring my folding chair and dinner in my thermal bag. Oooo, I'm sneaking in some wine as well.
I pulled out my xmas throw, and will be wearing a long red and black buffalo plaid longish top, over black leggings. Sounds festive already!

go on a walk
Finish making my Mom's reconstructed sweat shirt. I cut off the cuffs, ribbing at neckline and at waist, cut up the front. I appliqued the sides and in the back. Did a swirly back stitch along the hemline and neck. Embroidered purple little flowers on the rolled up cuffs. It turned out so cute! Roast butternut squash for dinner. I did work up a new quilt design. I'll start that soon. Read and catch up on some movies. This is what Saturdays are made for.

It's a short 2-day week, so I have a bunch of stuff to get done in a small amount of time. Last week I was typing the minutes from a meeting, and realized how many things I had said I would do. So, I will be doing those things.
Also, picking out holiday cards for the office to send to our constituents which sounds like the most fun and the first thing I will probably do. After work, stopping by the grocery store to get the things I forgot to get when I went grocery shopping this weekend. Possibly, starting some of the cooking for Thanksgiving. I'll have to look at my menu and see what can be done this early. I think I could make the cornbread and biscuits for the dressing. Oh, and laundry.

Grab some grub for tomorrow, check. Drop mail off at post office, check. Pay some bills, check. Confirmed doc appt, check. Call shelters to see if anyone wants old cat tree/toys/etc, in progress. Get at least one more load of trash out before the rain starts. Move old litter box to garage. Move student desk into living room temporarily until I have enough room to clean, paint and seal it. Clean out fridge. Sweep kitchen and bathroom. Catch up on the DVR while going through paperwork, in progress. |
