Sunday Morning Overeasy!

Counting my blessings on a beautiful morning. I'm so blessed that in this world full of hatred and disgusting humans I have found some good people who show me so much love. In a way, the fact that my main vape and back up vape have both died almost on the same day, is a blessing. I was down to 1.5mgs nicotine anyway. So I really can stop without much discomfort. It just wasn't how I had planned to quit. But as of today, I have quit vaping and I haven't touched an actual cig in years. I'm lucky to have love in my life and a wonderful gf who shows me love daily. We're lucky to have this wonderful apartment we live in. We are very lucky to have enough food and enough money to cover our rent and bills. We are doing better than a lot of people are during this whole pandemic.

So sip your coffee and look at the good you have........

Having a good, if not easy, Sunday. Didn’t have to work today. Just finished cleaning the carpets with Phil’s help. Will relax with a few tokes while listening to music, then will food prep breakfast for the week while keeping an eye on Detroit, Brooklyn and Minneapolis.

Hoping all have a nice and peace-filled Sunday.

Hope it's not too soon but it is Sunday and I am sitting here thinking.

So my question is:

When people give blood at a blood bank does blood from a White person go in a container labeled "White" and blood from a POC go in a container labelled "POC"?
And when a White person needs a blood transfusion do the Doctors go looking for a container labelled "White" and when a POC needs a transfusion do they go looking for a container labelled "POC"?

And when a White Supremecist is lying in a hospital and would die without a blood transfusion, do they refuse blood 'cause there is no container label?

It's been a delicious morning and afternoon so far. I got a full night's sleep and have been somewhat productive and it's a lovely day outside. So much so that I opened the windows a little and the light cross breeze and rattle of the blinds is very soothing.

I have had a mostly lovely morning and afternoon. Although I can't go outside, I can see out the window that it's a beautiful day. I have done my PT exercises once, and am about to do them again. I'm still watching _The Mandalorian_, and it's just as good the second time as it was the first.

It was disheartening to check the news this morning, and that's all I've got to say about that (at least in this thread).

Good Morning

I've been watching the path of Cristobal. Lots of rain heading to my friends out there. Please stay safe.

It's going to be the start of a very hot week here. This is the time I hibernate. (Thinking about how this will be my last summer in Texas heat!) Today, I'll be constructing a new quilt. All the squares are finished and now its designing how they will be placed. Something interesting will be found on Netflix and the smell of bbq brisket will tempt me.
