Highs in the upper 40s F today; I only wore a sweatshirt. I should have worn a coat, but fortunately I didn't have to be outside for long. Tomorrow I have to go out into the world again, and I will be taking a coat.

I just looked out the kitchen window and it has been snowing since 10 PM so for the past 6 1/2 hours. I only see 2 or 3 inches so far on the rail of my truck bed. They were right about the snow being light and fluffy so we'll see later today how close they were about the snow totals.

The GOP snow job isn’t working ….
Well, it’s been raining and we will get hit with unprecedented snowfall by Saturday but the bigger concern is with the GOP’s unprecedented denial on Climate Change and their version of effed up ‘facts’.
We won’t have an “America” if those swallowing the fucked up stories that the GOP spews daily, continues without being challenged and rebuked. To me, this unprecedented power grab by GOP officials will be the end of the world as we know it. Please, oh please, let justice be done today by the appeals court judges. Please enforce the law that *nobody* is above the law — including bad actors like the dick-tator who is ruining our country.

So we ended up with 5 to 6 inches of snow from our weekend storm. Tonight we are starting out with snow then onto sleet and it will finally end with copious amounts of rain. There are all sorts of wind and rain warnings out for tonight. Blade I'll keep an eye out for Ethel but if she lands up here I think she'll end up continuing on to Stone's country.

Well that was a hella ride! Roads flooded all around this and ajoining counties. Wind from hell. Trees down over the roads. Limbs dow on my property, creek looks like a river. Yard is a sloppy mess, this county is one big rock. Tornados in other counties we just had really big wind and are supposed to all night.

Snowed a huge storm last night and today at 42F it is all gone and now we are getting our promised rain that will wash away the rest of it. Unfortunately where some go to get warmer weather and no snow some are getting storms and tornadoes. Bummer.

Schools are closed and travel advisories listed for many roads. It's relatively warm at 34F. |

Crazy day yesterday. So many tornado warnings. Downspurt off the coast! Scary, thinking Mom was home and I was at work.
Then heavy rains. Today is clean up, leaves. I had to chase down my xmas ornament, once again. It almost made it to the lake! Today, day off, sunshine. Sorry snow peeps🌬☃️

We got a foot of snow over the last couple days and we're preparing for a lot more starting today. I heard a report this morning asking people in my city not to park on the streets today, if possible, to allow the snow removers to do their jobs. I haven't heard that request before now.
I have plenty of blankets, candles and flashlights, but just ordered more candles. |
