Lighting candles today for healing and for safety for myself and others who are dealing with health setbacks. Here’s GET WELL SOON wishes for us all.

Today I am lighting candles for those whose lives have been upended by terrifying situations no one should have to endure (lack of food and water, lack of a safe place to sleep, lack of loving and supportive aid by others who care about their safety, etc).

Is there any reason/rational decision you all can/may influence the 2024 presidential outcome? Who in your world of immunity can or will not influence its outcome?

On this our celebration of International Womens Day let us not forget all the women who can't join us to help us enjoy this day,. I remember one in particular and light a candle for each one in Montreal Canada sitting in their classroom on July 5/12 and being over thrown by a screaming male "you are all feminists" and shooting his automatic weapon and mowing down 27 innocent students, alll woman. Fourteen of these women died and thirteen were all severly wounded. SO on our day of celebration I would like to add these women among to thousands of others who have been persecuted for simply being women.

Just short of casting spells by candlelight, what’s been on my mind is how fucking lucky our country is by not being bombed or submitted to harrowing, life threatening horrors that people in other countries are subjected to and enduring.

One day, our proverbial enemies will come for our country and upend our lives, starve us to death or just outright kill us because they can.

I hate war.

I hate that dictators exist and try to ruin the lives of others with their terrifying sick ways of rule.

Today, I’m worried sick that you-know-who will never be punished for what he has done for years and continues to do, especially via his sycophant acolyte's who somehow escape prosecution for their role in furthering his law breaking ways.

So today I light candles.
And cast a few spells.

I’m lighting candles of emotional support for survivors of the Hurricane Helene and for those who lost their lives during the devastating impacts through the southeastern sector of the US and specifically for those in Asheville, North Carolina.
