This was well done... "In a House Oversight hearing featuring several authors of Project 2025 (who just happen to have been in Trump’s cabinet...) Rep. Crockett exposes misinformation from the creators of Project 2025 and pushes back against political attacks from the far right."

Podcast title: Prosecuting D. T.
Link: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas...=1000670721161 What a fantastic episode today — (spoiler alert): 🎯 Mary McCord gave the opening statement before the Senate Judiciary Committee and testified about certain things going on in Washington DC concerning the latest John Robert’s court on annihilating what most American citizens have known for decades, if not hundreds of years, that no one is above the law, not even the person who occupies the highest office in the land, and how the Supreme Court mucked up this particular aspect in law governing our country. Also revealed in this podcast was the fact that a non-profit launched criminal charges against DJT & JD Vance for inciting violence against the Haitian community in Ohio. I listen to this podcast regularly and today’s podcast is the best yet. Check it out wherever you get your podcasts.

Wow, can we get more positive assessments like the one Mark Cuban gave to Kamala Harris today???
LINK: https://www.msnbc.com/deadline-white...o-220146757526 Just hearing Mark Cuban on Nicole Wallace’s news show, on MSNBC, was so danged awesome. I dared to dream about starting my own business, next year. I hope Kamala wins because if she does, all the lights will remain on in our country and no more divisive liability issues will prevail like they do today. Way to go, Mr Cuban. Thank you for supporting Kamala Harris. 🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

I just read a few articles over on MSNBC: one news article was about how the Letitia James’ $454 cazillion dollar fine on the business fraud case might be in jeopardy due to certain judges on the appellate court monkeying around with Judge Engoron’s final and ongoing decision to hold DJT & kids’ feet to the flame of the law. The other news article was how DJT opening grifts money off of people who have disposable income in excess of six figures (for his stoopid watches, bibles or golden tennis shoes). * V O M I T *. WTH, right?!?!
Is that what makes America Great? Uh, nope. But,,,, thankfully Kamala Harris does have an economic plan that will dove-tail into the last fours years of economic leadership by President Biden. See link below: https://www.msnbc.com/top-stories/la...ies-rcna172889 ———————————————————. So, I live in a terribly Red leaning county. Most of my team is Blue except for two older people my age who have sold their souls to DJT. One is Asian and attends Catholic services for Asians and the other person is white, has led a life of white privilege and drive a car with a Trump flag on the tail end of the car and she actually divorced her husband and literally ruined his life financially while she lives high on the hog of the punitive income measures enforced on her very unlucky husband and on top of it, both people who are trumpers live a life of grift. Grifters who back grifters. Truly an eye opening problem I’ve seen countless times. A) we’ve all seen by prior experience that Trump has no economic plan other than lining his pockets with ill gotten income, B) it would appear that people who support the grifter-in-chief are people who live like him: skirt law and cheat cheat cheat and want the “easy” life as modeled by the ex-president and chief con-artist. So enraging.

I just got done with all kinds of important house chores and dr appt stuff to day and thought I’d listen to the debate. I only lasted through 1 1/2 questions. I think Gov Walz (D-Minnesota) is holding up well while giving answers. JD Vance though? He comes across, in how he talks to people, like a condescending angry boy in trouble with his mom and dad, like he’s got some chip on his shoulder or something. Idk.
JD is just like DJT. For sure. Wow. There’s no do-overs. I’m trying not to let this stuff get to me but it feels like Nightmare Before Christmas scary movie type stuff come to life. There’s not much room for error. Sure hope Kamala does another interview with the press addressing important concerns most of us face daily. The economy and housing issues like rent prices skyrocketing as well as the cost to try to own a home. There’s a lot of social unrest, which elevates the need to protect our social infrastructure so social order and safety remain a priority. To take my mind off thus stuff, I did go buy an adjustable wrench so I can fix the handlebars on my bicycle (so I can ride it while the weather is so beautiful). Oh, and Climate Change Issues. Sure hope people want to live an apocalypse-free life. I know I do.

Quote:
I'm desperately watching for issues of housing and skyrocketing rents to hit the table here. Since I work with a very transient homeless population, the ability to get people housed sustainably is getting smaller and smaller. Even a program that I oversee that is entirely funded by HUD isn't able to cover rents and utilities for single individuals. And we're in a little no-big-deal urban area. |
