<<<<<<<~~~~ I am terribly sensitized to the traumatic results of the election earlier this month. I don’t watch any news anymore (for now) but come across stuff online, once in a while.
To compound my heavy hearted sadness is the fact that two dear friends of mine have passed away and there are a couple family members/dear friends who might not live much longer due to health issues. ![]() ![]() ![]() Right now, I just keep my focus on making it through the day at work (which is a HUGE challenge — they voted for you know who). I still have bills to pay each month, student loan payments from hell, and a couple years of car payments. Going forward, each day, instead of my old habit of reading national news, I go to the gym early (before I go to work) and exercise for two hours based on goals I set with my gym coach. On my days off, I attend pool aerobics or do the Zumba dance class, then treat myself to a soak in the jacuzzi. Also, the holidays are ruined for me. I’ve canceled my views on holidays that most people celebrate and will now only entertain having a “holiday” (of my own making) that I use to reward myself for achievements that bring peace and joy to my life.
