Shadow represents the unknown. However, behind a shade would mean this is someone you know who is hidding something from you. You are being told but you are not listening. Perhaps because you don't want to believe it.

[I have a recurring dream that someone I know but no longer have contact with is chasing me and trying to kill me. She never quite catches me. Although once or twice I have dreamed she shot me, and that I died. Everything went black. The whole time in the dreams I am terrified and running. Sometimes I can fly or crawl up the sides of buildings to get away from her. But always she is right behind me.]

I dreamed last night that I had grown 3 perfect green onions in a little raised bed in the backyard. I had picked them and was holding them out to someone and showing them how full and fragrant they were and was thinking to myself that I needed to look up a recipe for something yummy to cook them with.

WHY did I dream of garden-grown green onions?!
