Ok, I really try hard not to read to much into things. I'm not one to jump everytime someone says "i saw something strange".
But, today i had an experience that I can't shake and want to get "the gang's" impression on it.... 96 year old lady, terminal cancer, family was all around her and she motioned for me to come to her. When I did she whispered to me "you know they are trying to take me don't you". It shocked me and i stood up and i said..."who, your family?" and she shook her head no and said....."you know who". The thing is this....it was more than what she said. It was the look in her eyes. They looked straight through me. Like she knew me or like I knew what she meant. Am I reading too much into it? I am a nurse maybe she just meant that in a general way that nurses should know. I don't know, but I'll tell you it gave me chills and made me tear up. I think it was personal. What say ye gang?
