Tranquility By The Sea

Walking along the ocean shore,
listening to the waves crashing roar.

The foamy water splashes in between my toes,
as the hot sun beats down onto my nose.

Sailboats floating to the rhythm of the sea,
roaming about in peaceful harmony.

The golden sand has footprints hidden
beneath the ocean floor,
as the water seeps in and whisks them away,
once again a covered blur.

Listening to the seagulls crying in the distance,
as I become closer to them,
they fly away from my presence.

As the sun begins to set in the dark blue sky,
I look above to observe this scene,
with a blissful sigh.

The vision of this picture is so breathtaking,
to think this is one of God's most beautiful creations.

Being in this atmosphere is like being in another world,
as I enjoy the tranquillity of this moment,
tucked away and curled.
