Good morning friends
  Putting on a fresh pot of coffee and  for everyone...and setting out the apricot scones (they turned out fabulous...thanks for the recipe darkcrystal...I LOVE it). I feel like baking cinnamon rolls this morning...the good yeasty kind loaded with brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon and chopped pecans. Mmmmm... This is gonna be a yardwork weekend for me I think...the yard needs mowing, the weeds need pulling, and the climbing roses at the front of the house grew so big with all the rain that they pulled the trellis over...think a little pruning is in order  Our fireworks are tonight...the little village we live in has a nice little display, we walk down to the park about 5 blocks from the house, sit on a blanket on the grass with the other 1,000 or so folks who live here, have a soft ice-cream cone with sprinkles, and watch the fireworks that they set off over the playing fields. Definitely "small town" but lots of fun. Hope you're all having a nice leisurely Saturday morning   baby...miss you already
