Well Gemme must have been a lady with a plan (and a lead foot)! I'm glad that she has made it safely to her new home of Austin.

Not so much a lead foot as no sleep (she told me 10 hours in 4 days)....

She's going to be driving up in the Ash~Van and they are leaving shortly (giving her enough time to have a bite to eat and a shower), so she can sleep going up. I'm glad someone ELSE gets to do the driving this time! She needs a break!

If y'all weren't getting in the car, I'd also be willing to pay someone to send me a Diva Brisket Sammich.

Ya know? I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and change the Welcome To Austin, Gemmie Gathering to Wednesday.....it seems rather ridiculous to me that the 2 people Gemmie cares about the most can't be there if we have it on Monday......

So I'm making an executive decision to move it to Wednesday, Sept. 15th at 7 PM.
