Hey Drew,

I know it's a bit of a drive to Richmond, but this group might be able to help point the young fella into a safe direction. Sorry I don't know more about the Northern VA area. Hope it helps.

There are a number of National Hotlines which can direct him to resources close by, or get him the help he needs ASAP!

Anytime Drew... Just listen to what Snow said to you. Be very careful in how you speak to her. She is still a minor and you do not need her parents coming after you. You are a good person!

I'm in Northern VA, and I might be able to get my hands on some resources. When I was teaching at a local high school here, I was the advisor for our Gay Straight Alliance, but I would be surprised if many (if any) Prince William County Schools house any chapters. I work in behavior mod now in a private school, and we do have some services that work with some kids, and I know of one kid in particular who has someone who set up some outreach for him... he is a 15 year old gay male... but I can try to check and see if I can get some info on that, i.e. what the services are and if they provide a wider range of services that includes females as well as males. If you want to contact me privately here or put her in touch with me and my partner, we'd be happy to help.

No problem at all! I used to work with this group and there is a wide age range. They also try to do outreach to nearby areas, as they are acutely aware of the need!
