Having next doors kitty leaping into my arms when I went out the front door, she's adopted us as her extended family now, as we're the other food providers and snugglers too it seems, I've gone out at 2:30am to be greeted by her leaping at me a couple of times now. She's a cute teenage kitty...

Walking into a resturaunt to pick up breakfast for me this morning and a woman who stopped and stood at the door to wait for me to walk in opening the door and with a smile on her face and a wink she says "You are the cutest little butch Ive seen in years" I laughed as my face turned red. today is my grandson's 9th birthday... we had a huge pool party and bbq at their house today-
even with 25 kids runnin amuck, even with the grill catching on fire, even with the ridiculously obnoxiuosly expensive bouncy blow up thingy coming unplugged and dang near collapsing with 10 jumping kids in it, and even with the moms new bf, and the dads new gf in the same yard........ nobody cried, died, bled, or went to jail today! I am smiling, because all of the madness made my grandson happy today, which in turn, made this femme very very happy. anddddd I ate 2 pieces of GI JOE cake!

Having a nice dinner with my sister, SIL and niece. It was a sort of celebration: my nephew's 18th birthday (he didn't want to go out for dinner and said that it should be a "girl's night out"), my sister got a contract extension on her job, my niece got a great new job, my SIL has finished arranging orientation at the university she teaches at. Me - I'm celebrating 1 week of being soda free.
It was great to have a nice meal with jokes, laughter, teasing and chocolate! |

My landlord stopping by yesterday to let Me know he is ordering Me a new stove and he commented on how clean My place is and how nicely decorated it is. Also, he is glad that he finally has someone in here that takes care of his property as though it was theirs.
As well as thinking of date night last night. Any time with My girl always makes Me smile.
