Good evening everyone and there's plenty of lasagna left over, so that's what we're having tonight.

It has been busy, with lots of adjustments, but overall we're getting it sorted out on the important stuff. The boys are getting along as well as two teenage boys can (which means flying objects and fart jokes mixed in with the companionable silences and real conversations.) We've lost two cats in the move (one still in NY and one shortly after we got here)...but the remaining critters are settling in well. And, even though annoyingly slow, we're actually making progress on the house.

Sanibel and Captiva were beautiful...and I loved seeing the dolphins and manatees...wading out waist deep into the gulf to hunt for shells. And...bulging neck veins aside...I didn't jump over the front desk and slap the clerk (richly deserved and ooooooooohhhhhh so tempting)...so I did good!

Absolutely can't wait to meet you MStar and Jake....and I'm happy to help research airfares if needed. And I hope things work out in the family Zimmy...that kind of thing is so hard to take. It always amazes me how many people don't think of their children first.

Rooster is going to be stealing my laptop soon...but I'll try to do better at dropping in!

Jake buddy come on in the kitchen and cut this thing before i dive into it....lol and if we arent careful there might be a chocolate thief on a coming thru...no worries tho i have set up curbs everywhere so she may steal the chocolate,but we wil get a show for it *grabbing baidaids and first aid spray*

good evening kitcheneers........boy do i got a story for you all....i took Jo and Rooster out to dinner....nice sports grill called Duffys...great food,atmosphere,about a gazillion tvs playing all types of sports...anyway we ordered an app and our food at same time....well food comes out first then a couple minutes behind it was our app-----NOT good...matter fact i was a bit put off and taken aback bc i have ALWAYS had great service at this place....well we discuss it briefly as we eat..Jo excuses herself from table---im assuming bathroom break--she comes back and informs me that they are taking app off ticket...apparently she went to talk to the mgr about the whole experince....now she swears she was very nice,polite,smiled,but next thing we know here comes the mgr and he comped the ENTIRE check....now ive seen her str8 from trailer park side and i assure u if she even showed a tad bit of that i can understand why the mgr comped our meal....lol


and lmao @ Rhonda....can u pinch the other one too????
