The Heroes of Might and Magic 6 are (almost) here, and that reminded me how much I loved HMM 3 and 4 - 4 being my favourite of the series and 3 having the best map (the Greek mythology one). The first part was too hard for me: you play and play so you could gather some troops... and then a mere pack of the weakest creatures possible beats you
![]() Anyone else into HMM? What's your favourite part ![]() And anyone into oldies/abandonware? Those are my favourite games ![]() Old Sierra and LucasArts adventures, Civilization, The Lost Vikings... I've discovered Princess Maker 2 last year - and what a surprise ![]() You'd expect something completely different judging by the title alone. The game is so full of intricacies and possibilities - it reminded me a bit of Black & White: controlling the little things your avatar does (in case of PM2, your... daughter, kinda) you influence the bigger picture, their personality. I got hooked in 5 minutes and didn't get up until I finished one cycle. Everything plays a part - not just if you send her to learn strategy or arts or magic, but also the date of her birth (Leos are under the Sun's influence and have a bonus when it comes to, hm, Charisma, Libras under Venus' and have a bonus for, say, Sensitivity, etc.) and her blood-type. I played a censored version and played for the "good" side, so I haven't experienced anything of the things they mention, but if you're interested you might want to check the Controversy part of the Wiki entry (spoliers) - everybody's got different likes/dislikes. |
