What did you want to be when you grew up?

I saw the Google Spider reading this thread and thought I would participate. LOL I wanted to join the Navy way back in the 1960s; but my step-father refused to sign saying only prostitutes and lesbians were in the Navy. I had no idea what he was talking about but the way he said it made me want to join all the more. Then I interviewed for a flight attendant for TWA; Paris New York route. Failed the eye test because I wore glasses. Now that would not be a problem on airlines. So I settled on marriage and children. I did want to be a mother when I was a kid. One child. No husband or father either. I was on the right track to being a lesbian even at the age of 10.

How I ended up becoming an accountant/management (and now retired) I have no clue.
