Confessions Are Good For The Soul

I confess...

... That I find the holidays overwhelming

... That I fight each year to fulfill the holiday ideals of everyone around me

... That very often this means my own are not met

... That I am fighting an anxiety attack to try and finish everything in time

... That I am fairly certain I wont be able to do it

... That all I really want out of the holiday is to watch my children open presents under the tree and be able to be in my honey's arms.

... That I may not be able to appreciate that if everyone else doesn't quit stressin' out.
