I confess...

~ I am thoroughly disappointed that my family pulled a bait-and-switch on Christmas Eve dinner. Instead of the yummy turkey and stuff that I was expecting, they decided to do a "snack setting" with just finger foods and appetizers...

Looks like the only way I will get the yummy turkey I am craving is if I go to my maternal grandmother's house for lunch today. I tend to avoid them like the plague because they are they gun toting, hellfire-and-brimstone, Ruby Ridge-ish kind of folks who sit on their mountaintop, do the scary Jesus homeschooling while hording guns and not paying their taxes.

Guess there's no turkey for me this Christmas...

~ Eventhough disappointed with the food options, I am super happy with my gifts from the family. I had already gotten a DroidX as an early present so I wasn't really expecting anything more. Ended up with awesome fuzzy pjs (w/matching fuzzy socks!), a camo makeup bag, $$$, and a cute new little camcorder. Can't wait to see what's in my stocking in a few hours...
