Happy Birthday, PurePisces!

I wanted to thank everyone for the birthday wishes … it means a lot to me. This was a big birthday for me, my 40th.

I have to say it raised some serious questions for me: am I happy with my life, what am I going to do next, who am I, really? So, I took a 3 day silent retreat, no phones, no internet, just me and my dog and my journal. It was just what I needed and I’m looking forward to making some big changes.

I’m so grateful to have this community in my life. I don’t post as often as I would like, but I’m an avid reader here and feel truly connected to many people that I’ve met here, especially in the Penpal thread (what a great group of creative, encouraging, beautiful people).

Diva, a special thank you to you for starting this thread for me … and even more importantly, for being such an inspiration to me as a Femme who is living a truly creative life and putting your art and your love (because in a way they are one and the same, aren’t they?) out into the world.
