My heart is heavy today. Last night a woman who has three dogs was evicted from her apartment. She had been living with her uncle and he suddenly passed away. She told me that the agencies here in Barcelona would not help her unless she relinquished her animals. She says she cannot give them up,they are her family...so she has opted for sleeping on the park benches or inside the banks lit doorways. I gave her some money and a blanket and offered to make her some dinner....but I feel at a loss for doing more. My situation does not allow me to take her and the animals into my home. I am also jobless so financially I really have nothing to give her at this time. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease send out your prayers and best energy for her and her "babies". My heart just bleeds when I see this happening. THANK YOU Dear Ones!!!

My thoughts and prayers are for all of us here. May we all have our burdens lightened. May some of our prayers be answered.

May nobody ever be told they are are burden to others or embarass their family because of who or what they are. We are all human beings - all interconnected. We all deserve nothing but unconditional love.

That is why my candles and incense are burning for today.

Thank you Andrew. I chose to divorce 1/2 of my bio-family years ago. It was for my survival. It took years for them to speak to me and my Mom (who came out when I was 17) They were too toxic to be around. he later remarried and had 2 children. My 1/2 brother killed himself at 16, and I do not know the whereabouts of my 1/2 sister.

During that time, we moved far away due to death threats from my father, his constant vigilance and harassment, and the inability to be who we were in a small Pennsylvania town. I have learned that true friendship and love in the gay community can last a lifetime, and when and if the family comes around, you can be rich in other things.

From my flame to yours, may we share the true light of love and to my sister Cindy wherever you are.

It is so misunderstood, and overlooked. Even when we know, there are just some that believe it is their choice.
My only brother was 16.
