***Camping RIGHT on the lake
***Fishing....really fishing like I did when I was a kid!! (or in my case, feeding the damn turtles like I did at Lake James when they stole my bait!!...here turtle turtle!) ***Roasted Marshmellers! ***Birdwatching around the lake....especially Blue Herons, Grey Herons and Great white Cranes.... they like to fish too!! ***Getting to relax at a peaceful campsite at sundown and listen to Spring Peepers all night long.... that's music to my ears! ***Hot coffee in the morning.... ***making breakfast over an open campfire.... being lazy getting started moving, staying cozy under the blankets while watching the sun climb higher.... ***listening to all the night time and morning critters....at Badin Lake, we got to hear a Momma Owl teach her baby how to "hoot" (that was TOO sweet! and awesome to lay there and listen to!! Things you never hear in everyday life...) and I got to watch a Bald Eagle SWOOP down outa the sky and scoop up a fish...just a few yards off the edge of the bank where I was sitting.... ***watching all my "camping dogs" have a fun time getting all dirty and Willy Bear playing with his favorite frog ***the smell of a good campfire ***kicking back and letting the fire warm my old bones ***the feel and smell of fresh morning dew... ***SPRING!!! the feeling of Renewal ***yummy campfire treats! ***the feeling of not being rushed to do anything....everything at my own pace and in a peaceful setting and taking a long hot shower when I get home!!

Dr Pepper over Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi... store bought cookies! I have been craving them lately. I have found I can dip them in coffee and make them soft enuf to eat! uncomplicated trac phones and probably wont upgrade to much more even when my SSDI monies come in
