Another busy day...

• awake at 6, got out of bed at 7
• went to breakfast with Scoote
• Home Depot - got bunches of plants and cool pots for the yard
• mowed half the backyard...Scoote did the rest
• pruned the over-achiever Bouganveillias
• planted all but 2 of the new plants
• potted some...made a really cute little cluster of lavender, pink kangaroo paw, catnip and a funky pink spikey succulent in lovely pots on the corner of the patio
• laughed at the cats getting high on catnip
• had a bowl of homemade soup for lunch
• ran some errands ...insurance, bank, then back to the grocery store...unbelievable after yesterday's mega BJs run
• put the sprinkler on the newly planted stuff to give it a good soak
• pruned the frangipani tree
• did some laundry
• reinstituted the "everyone cleans for an hour" policy....so we all dusted, vacuumed, mopped, scrubbed bathrooms, cleaned the sliding glass doors, etc. The house looks and smells nice and fresh.
• made dinner for the boys
• munched on yummy nachos Scoote made
• Now it's "feet up and relax" time.

This is NOT what is known as 'bed rest'.
