What did you accomplish today?

Before noon on a Sunday...

woke up at 7:17 ...so much for sleeping in this weekend *sigh*
dragged the ladder over to the side of the house
up and down the ladder about 20 times, hanging shade fabric so that it keeps the hot morning sun out of the boys' bedroom windows
made coffee and had a couple cups out on the patio
took cushion covers off the couch and laundered them
planted a firecracker plant, a shrimp plant, something else I can't remember the name of, and two banana trees
dug up the smaller bouganvillia (how do you spell that anyway?) and re-planted it in a better spot
pulled thorns out of my hand
put the soaker hose down...stuff is droopy from the heat and no rain for a bit too long
jumped in the pool and splashed around with Rooster
invented "noodle boarding" in the pool...and raced him a couple laps (I won)
showered and dressed
made grilled cheese sandwiches for Scoote and me
tugged and pulled the dry cushion covers back onto the couch
broke a thumbnail halfway down my thumb (ouch) and made a small tear in fabric....grrrrrr
febreezed
remembered to take morning meds....finally...ugh

Now resting, having a Cream soda (sinful and not on the diabetic diet...but what the hell) and deciding if I'm up to enforcing the "everyone cleans for an hour" rule today or just saying heck with it...

You spell it bougainvilliers, from the name of French explorer Louis de Bougainville; the plant was discovered in Brazil during one of his expeditions.

Worked out this morning.. Finished a 28.3 mile week, best so far .
Groomed 2 dogs
Napped
Made cheese soup for lunch
Put laundry away

I got up after sleeping late,it was much needed.
Fixed me and my son breakfast.
Then I watched syfy till I got bord with it.
Did some paper work that needed to be done.
Took a nap.
Worked out a while.
Just had dinner of a tossed salad.
Now on the puter.

Cleared. Cleaned. Vacuumed. Generally made the place just ok for a girl to share habitation instead of just a 15yr old boy and a cat.

Woke up at 4 am to a Peppa sneaking in bed with us after opening her crate door... went back to sleep..
Went to teach Sunday school.. I love those kids.. 5th and 6th graders are so cool..
Made Damon lunch.. sent him off to work..
Took a short nap..
Had a wax session with a friend..
Did 3 loads of laundry..
Bathed a smelly dog..
Made coffee...
Now am chatting with a friend online while doing odd chores around the house...

Today I did less than I planned, but here it is:

*three loads of laundry, start to finish
*cleaned out a couple of drawers and started to switch out clothes for the season
*sorted through and handled one box of paperwork to file/toss/handle
*completed new W-4 forms (finally) so I don't cut it so close, next year
*paid a few bills

All the rest was fluff--talked to my daughter on the phone, computer time, and, of course, there was food involved at several junctures.

The best part of the day was sitting in the sun. Finally, my
first color for the season.

Then a nice, quiet walk on the bike path.
