I confess dad is back home now.

I confess the blood infection thing was a 'mistake'.

I confess he doesn't like the oxygen tube in his nose but puts it back in when told to.

I confess I am glad the scary stuff is over and the hospital stuff is over.

I confess I will feel even better when the good eater dad gets his appetite back and isn't refusing food.

I confess thank you for all the messages wishing him well and offering empathy.

I confess back to our regularly scheduled life of laundry, dusting, yard work, etc.

I confess I am grateful I have tomorrow off work and can catch up on some much needed rest and relaxation.
