My beautiful and most beloved best friend Carrie died this weekend. I am still in such shock and really unsure of what to do. I haven't experienced a lot of death and this is painful beyond measure. I light my candle today for her and send her peace, something I'm not so sure she ever had while she lived. I will miss her for the rest of my entire life.

There are almost 2 million acres involved in wildfires here in Texas....mostly in West Texas and Northwest Texas (just to the west of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area).

I'm lighting this candle for those who have lost everything to those fires, and for the firefighters are weary from trying to put out these fires, which are only 25% contained.
