I enjoy
my staff (ok maybe only half of them).
antagonizing my family, my staff, Beasley's family, my friends and Beasley. wearing my "tickle my nipple" t-shirt. making my boss cuss. silence. gambling. dancing in our driveway. making an army out of gummy bears. putting a walkie talkie in our mailbox and shout at people as they walk by our house. thumb wrestling. taking pictures of my face and the body of our cat, put them together, and post signs saying "lost". |

Wow. What a day today...
Attended a beautiful musical program at the Beach Pavilion looking out over the Gulf of Mexico late today. Our church performed "Alleluias by the Sea." Once every four years the choir and orchestra present a compilation of broadway hits, patriotic songs, and spiritual music. The brown pelicans were swoopping above the crowd of about 600 people and the seagulls challenged their own voices with that of the choir. As the sun set on the horizon, the choir sang an old hymn, "How Great Thou Art." As I glanced over to look at my mother the sun had lowered to almost twilight...I thought...here is my beloved mother in her own twilight years...and she is still in this realm - at my side - loving me unconditionally. Yes, How Great Thou Art.
