I confess I am a warrior of Carthage.

I confess I carry my sword into battle wearing armor and at ready for death .

I return still raised and angry cutting anything in my path.

I confess you were not the enemy yet I cut you down again.

I confess my armor hanging on the wall is no company, and my sword is rusting and sheathed.

I confess sorrow to the gods and goddess, and you.

as I can not put my lightning back into the heavens

as I see the burned and bled
