Good Morning fellow floridians. We finally got some rain yesterday,but it only served to make things hotter. I think its the first time we had rain in weeks. We are still under severe drought regulations.

Hiya FLF...welcome to BFP. I too reside in south florida--though near the top of the south..

We are heading to the Bahamas next week(mostly on my companys dime) but i know Jo and I both are up for a meeting at some point in time. I think in August we will be heading to Jax for a family reunion so if not before then perhaps we could meet a few on that trip. i think jax is about 3 hrs or so from us so no big deal!

Well im off to get ready to go see the back dr..hope everyone has a great day and stays cool

Hi Scoote: Have fun in Bahamas...and hopefully we can all meet up for some lunch sometime around Jax. The smoke here today is so horrible. The light shower yesterday evening helped dissipate it some. But today is really thicker, and is very dense outdorrs...plus hard to breathe outdoors. The whole state is declared a state of emergency. I heard there are more fires breaking out. Rain chance is 30 to 40% all week.... visibilty at airport is one mile!!!! That is scary!!! We are right below their flight path! And NAS Jax also!!! Have good day Scoote! Clay

Sharing a ride could happen depending on scheduling.
I think I saw a bird melt from the heat. My kitten says it is to hot to walk outside. The puppy agrees. I have to carry them both back in. *rolls eyes* Now I am contemplating going to play kickball.

Wolf I just came back from Largo Mall and just from the car to the stores was enough for me. Then went to Red Lobster and had a Strawberry Dacquari /sp.. even the pool is hot.

let me know if you wanna share a ride cause we can plan around and then post ahead of time for the Jax folks if they wanna meet up for drinks and dinner or breakfast. I'm game , I'm sure we can find some trouble to get into ..lol

Hey Kat & Wolf.....I am up for either...breakfast OR dinner & drinks! There are four I think that are here in Jax...and one across at panhandle who wants to come....do we HAVE to wait til August...lol...

Thanks for the welcome. Nice to come across other South Florida folks from this site. Hopefully, South Florida will one day have its own B-f meetup because Tampa and JAX is just too far. Anyways, Bahamas sounds like alot of fun. I hope you both have great trip.

Hey Clay,

I have been busy as hell installing new hardwood floors and building a window bench and new kitchen table for mom. Not to mention lots of papers due in this class.... I am beat!!!

The first show is ST Pete Pride the 25th of June, after that I think Orlando, then maybe Lake city and Jax. Waiting to hear back to be sure I have spots on all of them.

HOws it going with you? This smoke is crazy huh?

Am doing good....looking for new room mate digs in case ya know anyone!!!! I am great with cooking, cleaning, laundry, lawn work, and helping with most household chores! Is just me and my little dachshund....PM if you know of anything!!! Or anyone else here in Jax area.....PS I do windows and I am potty trained...just sayin'...<wink>

It is true Clay, parting Casa De Mick is tricky. Kind of like Hotel California, ey? "Some" really like it here!!! LOL Nah, all kidding aside, it was a nice change having extra guests!

I could have used help last week. Man it was killing me getting all that done. I think it has finally set in that I am not young rooster anymore! I am like that damn old rooster that that can crow any more waiting for the young stud to come kill me and take my place LOL

Trying to finish up the window bench and storage stuff today. Need to find somewhere to order custom cushions, that will not charge 150-300 bucks. Crazy, folks wanting 50-100 bucks for a cushion LOL

Have the walls to do, do not know what I am going to do on them that is cheap.... once I get all that done, I will have one room completed!! Whoohoo

Do not know of anyone needing a roomie right now. I will keep my ears open, but to be honest, I do not know many people any more since I started taking care of momma. I am fairly isolated. But, if I do hear, I will let you know.

And, if you hear a a beautiful young women who is educated and kind and loves Trans guys who care for their mother, and who is single and looking, you let me know! LMAO

Awesome on the remodel. I have a friend who lives in Port Orange, makes aprons, etc....hell she even makes boxers for one of our friends...I will shoot her an email and see if she can make cushions for you,k?
I surely will keep an eye out for your ideal femme...for sure!!!
We had a real nasty thunder and lightning storm at 400am today...so that has helped to knock down the ceiling of dense smoke fog and ash.

Thanks Clay, I would appreciate the help o the cushions. I just cannot and will not pay what some are wanting. I am thinking throw pillow LOL if I cannot get them for a decent price!

Yeah the storm helped and we have another one about to start. Been busy as hell today. My dog is really sick, I mean really sick and I have been pampering him all day. Waiting for blood tests to come back... I feel so helpless... he is my baby boy.... got my fingers crossed!

Anyways, I need to get back to him.. have a great weekend and thanks for the help on those cushions again!
