Well, Things didn't "work out" for this gal and me. She didn't want to move here. I told her I have a responceabilaty looking aftetr my Mom. I gave my word to my dad and my brother.

LDR could be difficult and costly. My last partner lived in California and I lived in Boston and we did the long distance for almost 2 years we visited each other every three months. Finally I moved to California and the relationship had a 7 year run after.

LDR could work out but there has to be trust !! love !! and honest daily communication.

Its important not to rush things, we have responsibilities in our individual lives and we can not expect to pick up and go ASAP. I have heard and seen people pick up and go ASAP and it has been a terrible mistake.

Love grows when you nurture it gently and slowly, developing deep roots that will stand strong when difficult times arise.
