Why would we automatically presume that Madonna hates Lady Gaga for....what? For being a successful young woman? For being interesting? For being another artist that gay men are obsessed with?

Maybe Madonna is happy for Gaga. Maybe Madonna doesn't give a shit either way.

Okay, I think I've figured out why the whole "I bet Madonna hates Lady Gaga!" thing irritated me so much.

It's like presuming that successful women can only become and remain successful women by clawing at the eyes of and being placed in strategic opposition to other women. Fuck that.

Ok, I get it. I didn't think the post was serious though. I thought it was just referencing that Lady Gaga is another talented, creative woman. Like a giving props to Gaga kind of thing.

I agree. She didn't do too bad, though....except when she went to drink the beer...less than smooth.

When Lady Gaga first exploded into the music scene I said, " Not Again?" I wasn't happy with all the show boating and act. But, actually she is a very multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. Very impressed with her work and keeping an open mind gave me an open ear to her art. She knows her craft well and sell to all ages so 4 thumbs up to Lady Gaga~I'm a fan!
