I love my iPhone 4..its attached to me at the hip. I rarely ever go somewhere without it. Mine is jailbroken. Jailbreaking the iPhone makes it more customizable among other things. I do see an iPhone 5 in my future

Jailbroken means removing restrictions put on the iPhone by Apple or AT&T. Usually means a modified iOS and the ability to install apps not approved by Apple. It also violates the warranty and any Apple Care you have is no longer usable.

Thanks Linus. I guess I don't need to know how that makes it more customizeable then.

I've seen them do some crazy things with the IPT4 on utube and thought, now why would you want to do that......

True- so worth it though

and you can always go back to the way it came out of the box. But it is a risk you take because it can brick your phone and then your SOL.

A young lady I once had a... errrrrm!... 'liaison' with, offered me a 16gb iPhone 3gs on facebook, saying that she'd taken it back from a particularly gruesome ex in the last year. I'm desperate for a new mobile phone (mine is 2 and half years old and struggling) and I'm one of the original mac fan-boys so an iPhone would be ace.....so, yes please says I.

Long story short...Jailbroken, unlocked from network...IMEI number blocked...can't be used in UK, anywhere else, but not UK...Bloody buggery bastard!...Now have a 16gb iPod Touch as well as the 32gb iPod Touch I already own...*sigh*

Research says that the IMEI cannot be unblocked by a third party software. *sigh x2*

If it looks too good to be true...it is!

I love my MacBook Pro, iPad2 and I'm planning on getting the new iPhone as soon as it comes out with Sprint, which I hear will be Oct. 5th. It's really amazing what one can do with these little toys.

The latest thing I heard today is that preorders will start Oct. 5 with possible delivery as soon as Oct. 12. I don't know if I'll be upgrading in the first batch but I'm excited to trade my old 3G in for a 4S. Based on the current plan, the whole family will be 4S'ing here shortly.

I'm also thinking there may be an iPad in our future at some point.
