chris carpenter did a good job against an amazing texas lineup.
and cj wilson did better than i thought he would lol.
i really looked for carpenter to step up.
both sides, relief pitching, did great.

tonight, they may go back to a slug fest. i hope not.
i love to see the pitcher work his/her stuff.
big fast pitch softball fan.

tony la russa is the man.

you know mark mcqwire is the cardinals hitting coach.
i have mixed emotions about mark. but i think he may be a pretty good coach.
a player can certainly learn a lot from him.
david freese says mcqwire is a big reason for his success.
and surely mcqwire has something to do with lance berkmans resurgin'.
if we look at the cardinals hitting stats for the season and thus far, ...
something has change for the better.
i guess mcqwire does deserve a second chance. i just wish he didn't need one.

go cardinals!
