Some Embaling rooms in the smaller Funeral Directors still have the marble slabs and 'old style' Embalming rooms, but, they are now being rennovated with the stainless steel tables (as they are now called).

Ahhhh now it makes sense.

I can definitely say that not all the slabs in the country have been saved. There are a few that will either be lost in demolitions or vandalised.
