Even burned bridges, can be rebuilt.

I've been spending some time away from virtual life, and in the real world with a dear Ex who was at deaths door. Years together and years ago we had an ugly breakup, and both suffered horribly, emotionally and financially. She kept me away from a child we had raised that was then 17 , for over a year. I left her for a younger woman in 1997. We were cordial over the years, my daughter Leia and I made peace and eventually Peggie and I came to a place of phone calls every now to chat about Leia ,Leia's seperation and reconciliation with hubby and always when we get pictures of the grandkids.

Sept. 18 she was dying, she was unable to breathe and called me, and simply said " Can you come by, I'd like to talk to you. I want you to have Freedom (her cat) if anything happens."

As some of you that know me personally and we have talked, it has been a journey of physical and emotional healing and hope. I rushed through 45 minutes of traffic and rushed her to the hospital that day. She spent some time in Cardiac ICU and Seven weeks later she is better, not completely better, but COPD and pulmonary hypertension are improved. Peg's son is in Oregon. Friday Leia and the family moved from Ellsworh AFB South Dakota to Wright Patterson in Ohio.

So, even when we have loved and lost and moved on, there is a time and a place that you may feel the hand of a higher power taking charge of your life. So, I have let Go and am going with the day to day flow of cosmic energy and karmic reality. I am going to watch football, then go pick her up and take her to brunch....O 2 tanks and all.

Just stopped by to say thanks for the light from ya'll. Keep her in the light and until we can find the place where she needs to be. She can't live alone, and we sure can't live together.

Today I am lighting a candle for, and asking for prayers for, one of My very best friends is in the hospital and is not doing so well now. 12 years ago this December she lost her then fiancee to murder; it was right around xmas in 1999 and she never had the proper chance to grieve. Now last year at the beginning of December, one of her dearest friends was found dead in her apartment and it was ruled a homicide but that was never confirmed. For years she has had a very hard time dealing with his death, and December has seen her in the hospital a few times due to very bad panic/anxiety attacks as well as self harming.

This year will be even harder for her as she deals with the one year anniversary of another friend's death, and already she is very sick. I've been texting with her current boyfriend and another mutual friend and they are very worried that she may not be strong enough to make it past the new year this time. Her body is weak and frail, she is being monitored 24/7 in the hospital by nurses and she has breathing tubes in to help her to breathe properly. I've been with her for a long time as friends; we've had our ups and downs but she has always been there for Me. We are all very worried for her and are praying as hard as we can - so far she is stable but you never know when things might go awry.

Any and all prayers would be greatly appreciated
