If You *REALLY* knew Me...

If you really knew me, you'd know...

... my favorite color is green.
... that I very rarely cuss, instead saying things such as "good heavens," or "oh my gosh." Earlier this week, I pulled out an "oh my stars!"
... I've gotten angry only twice this year and I plan to go a full year without it in 2012.
... that I'm indecisive.
... that when I was little, I really wanted to grow up to be an entomologist... until I learned that I would have to kill the insects to do it.
... my favorite band is the Tragically Hip but my favorite song is 'From the Beginning' by Emerson, Lake and Palmer. If the Hip did a cover of that song, I would probably be all set in my musical life.
... I only drink tea, juice, water, and the rare cup of coffee.
... that I like odd numbers.
... I solve math problems in my head when I'm stressed to keep from panicking.
... that I'm gullible.
... that I tend to read books in a matter of hours unless I actively pace myself.
... I am equally right and left brained... and ambidextrous.
... that I really am this happy, positive, and peaceful.
... that I don't take medication of any sort, unless I could die if I don't. It's even in my medical records.
... that love people despite being very shy.
... I don't like to argue and it makes me withdraw when someone argues at me, even though I'm not disagreeing or saying anything at all.
... that while I am feminine, I do not ID as a femme.
... at Christmas and my birthday, I donate money to charities. I especially like the Whale Center of New England and I've adopted several whales.
... that one of the people I got angry at this year was a manager at the office.
... that I refuse to grow up till I'm at least eighty years old. Maybe not even then.
... I have an urge to hug people when I see them looking sad or hurt; friends, coworkers, strangers, etc.

I have hiked 50 feet of the Appalachian Trail.
my third grade teacher cracked a plastic ruler over my head and broke it.
my worst fear is being buried alive.
that when I am bored I like to try and catch 25 grapes in my mouth at one time.
that I sort of don't like donuts much. But I do love tequila and donuts!! And cake!!!!!
that I work hard and play low keyed, have too or I couldn't work hard.
I had a cyst on my thyroid gland in the shape of Mickey Mouse.

I have a VP in my title at work...not to brag...but to let you all know that with all my years in management, I don't participate in drama or back room gossip. What you see is what you get with me. I will always be forthright and upfront with you. Sometimes that may feel uncomfortable as people generally like to avoid conflict, but at least you can always know where you stand with me.

I don't know any of you on this board. I have not had any interaction either in real time or online with the posters on this board (except Vlasta), at least I don't think I do.

I am the last person in the world to hold a grudge. Sure I get mad, but by the next day, it is completely forgotten. I don't know why I am like that but I sure am glad that I am. Holding grudges only hurts the one who is holding them.

I just came here to make friends, I have no hidden agendas.

If anyone is ever offended by what I post, I would surely hope that you would come to me and tell me, preferably in private.

Now I am going to go find a smiley appropriate to this post...wish me luck!

I have a wide circle of acquaintances, but a small circle of friends who love me so beautifully and I love them back! They say I've changed their life in some way (for the better) and I feel the same way about them.

I am a very private person but my personality is highly contagious.

I give the best I have and save the worst of me for people who really know me. I know I can talk about unvarnished stuff with them in ways that I can't do or be here online. I'd get in a lot of trouble. Trust me.

I tend to be life long friends with people who dig bringing their creative reality to the equation of mutuality. People I associate with are rarely anything like myself yet we compliment and bring out the best in each other.

I'm strangely intelligent. I often embarrass myself often by my own natural curiosity and stark openness. Sometimes I feel good about this and other times I wonder if I am cursed.

I made a quilt out of cocktail napkins once.

The worst place that I have been stung by a bee was on my tongue. I was walking and talking (go figure) and before I knew it there was something weird in my mouth that I spit out. I didn’t know if I was going to have an allergic reaction, so I basically sat down and waited to see if my tongue was going to swell and choke me to death.

When I was young I had a fascination with briefcases, until I finally got one and realized they weren't all that exciting.

My favorite vegetable is the avocado, which is technically a fruit. My favorite true vegetable is the artichoke.
