I downloaded this game to my phone, thinking I knew someone to play against, but she wasn't interested.

Now I am a bit intimidated. There is a difference between knowing words and thinking of them for a play. LOL

Besides, I haven't played Scrabble in years.

Any suggestions on starting out slow?

I am hoping to be able to use this word in a sentence soon.

Of course I know I am displaying an excessive amount of hubris for all this and will be undoubtedly hit by Karma, but it is oh so worth it.

I play on my phone and can add people by their User Name.

Click green + button and choose Create Game with "User Name"

My WWF app is linked to my facebook account but I don't play via facebook.

Thankyou so much!!! I only play via facebook. The start game button had a place to put in a username but it didnt work so I decided to try using the mobile button and popping in the persons username and it worked! Woohooo
