So, anyone who knows me knows that I believe if you can't do it with a swiss army knife then you don't need to do it. I've got 91 of them (and 1 ordered). I've always got 2 or 3 on me and they get used every single day.

If you haven't tried oiling it that might help. Another option is that swiss army guarantees their knives for life. Any thing wrong, including stuff like broken blades from extreme use, they fix for no charge. All you pay is the postage to get it there, they cover postage back to you.
