The last 18 hours has been emotionally and physically draining. I still have many hours to go before I hear the test results about my friend's meningitis...I know in my heart that they will come back as viral and not bacterial (the better of the two), but the waiting is hell on earth. Having to drive back without knowing the answer was really hard.
