I am actually very shy sometimes... I know... I know... I said sometimes!! hehehe..

I am fierce about those I care about...

I love the sense of peace and tranquility that D/s, D/g gives me when it exists..

I hate mushrooms but would eat them if I was told to... blekkkk...

I love to go on long drives by myself

If you need something.. no matter what it is... I would try to make it possible..

I am naturally service oriented

...i've done my best to grieve my parents' deaths but it feels like my life is defined by before my parents died and after they died (partly because i lost so much of my family afterward). sometimes it feels like the apocalypse happened and this is, like, the post-apocalyptic world. it's hard to remember what life was like before.
...i love easily but it's hard for me to trust people.
...i love people

and life. i'm optimistic and smiling most of the time, even when things are hard. not because i'm idealistic or because i don't know what tragedy and pain are like, but just because that's who i am.

I dont feel like I am in my 50's emotionally. I feel like I am in my 30s.

I dont feel like I am in my 50s physically. I feel like I am in my 70s.

I am still a go getter and have done just about everything I ever wanted to do in life, except the balloon ride. That still needs to happen

I am not afraid to take risks. I also know when not to take them now. LOL. Seasoned with age....

I cook a fine meal and bake even better

I love my friends and family dearly

I love comic books. Not graphic novels. Old fashioned comic books. Richie Rich. Hot Stuff. Casper.

I collect horse nick nacks

I like ears and am amazed at how we totally ignore them!

You'd know I don't play favorites.
That my wife is the most important person in my life.
That I have a sarcastic since of humor.
That my friends are who they are because of their humanism.
That I don't do the drama llama, they need leashes and I want them to run free and well away from me.
That life is short, and at this age I have fewer years ahead of me than behind.
That because I know that life is short it is therefore precious and to be used wisely, not to hurt other people or to advance my own ego.
Someday we're all gonna have a come to death moment, I want to have been known as one who did so with courage and humility.
And if you really knew me you'd all know what a privilege it is to have some of you as family, and yes you know who you are.
