What did you accomplish today?

I'm covering up the frog pond in the driveway. Chuckles it isn't really a frog pond it is where ruts have worn in my driveway and people have tried to drive on the hump to avoid the mud hole and it has wallowed out even more. So what I am accomplishing today is shoveling off a ton of abc granite in the ruts at the frog pond and I think it is going to take another ton to fill it. Just a side note...I'm getting to dang old to be shoveling rock/dirt out the back of a truck, a ton at the time.

*Managed to stumble out of bed at 745 and get dressed for health checkup for my new job...
*Drove through McDonald's drive thru for coffee and breaky...
*Finished health checkup and gave a donation to the vampires..
*Picked up pellets for the pellet stove..damn its cold today!
*Let the dogs out...
*Switched Damon to the bears room which was warmer and darker.. poor thing is still very sick..
*Now I need a nap...

• Went to work although I wanted to stay cuddled in bed
• Successfully signed up a customer for the Lowe's AmEx card - a hard feat! Woohoo an additional $10 into my paycheck!
• Found out I have an interview Monday morning with HR and my Assistant Manager for the Head Cashier spot - wish me luck!
• Came home and cuddled, napped for an hour, then Bard woke me up because our friends brought over the kitchen hutch we bought from them for the *ALMOST-OURS* new house
• Speed cleaned living room before they came over.. that crept into the kitchen, where now the floor is cleaned, dishes are done and everything is shiny and smells like lime! Shower is currently being 'soaked' in no-scrub OxyClean
• Had a dinner of apple&cinn oatmeal and 1% milk
• Skipped laundry for tomorrow
• Did my History homework for the week - paper done, and aced both quizzes.. Now to start my midterm review presentation tomorrow!
• Now starting up on Spanish homework and relaxing watching K-9: P.I.

We get the kiddo tomorrow for the weekend, and so far making meatloaf, dying eggs and possibly bowling are on the agenda.

Made arrangements... going to Leavenworth for 2 days.... get away!

Trimmed some trees for a friend, mowed her grass yesterday. Cleaned off my desk, yes this was an accomplishment. Cleaned out my chest of drawers, not to be confused with my drawers. Cleaned out my closet. Put all winter wear in totes to go in the attic.......................Now it is suppose to be 40 degrees tonight, do I bring back out the winter wear?

- i remembered Daddy's words last night..(not getting up at 7)
- oops... back to bed til 10am, lol.
- breakfast, and walked to the Gym.
- realized it was a holiday, gym is closed.. GRRR.. lol..
- walked home the long way to get a good workout..
- housework, laundry, more housework, more laundry ..
- recovery work in an Orientation i am in..
- more recovery work in some groups i am in..
- emailed my Sponsor.
- amazing, hot, relaxing bubble bath...complete with candles, sugar scrub, girly self-spoilage..
- Daddy's awake, yaaaaaay.. time with Daddy *smiles*
- blogged, wrote out some lists
- did i mention time with Daddy?
- posted pictures on facebook ♥
- time with Daddy til He says bedtime..

Slow pace but got a fair amount done...

• coffee for me, tea for Rooster
• toast with peanut butter for both of us
• cleaned the pool thoroughly, emptied skimmer and filter baskets, adjusted chemicals
• fed and watered critters
• cleaned up the kitchen, loaded dishwasher
• took dogs to dog beach....long walk
• long hot shower
• finally opened the box from the hospital
• lunch for Rooster
• took him to gaming
• laundry started....2 loads down and another in process
• emptied dishwasher
• grocery shopping....gigantic shopping from Farmer's Market and supermarket...really overdid it
• stripped Rooster's bed, remade with clean sheets and blanket
• talked and IM'ed with my honey on and off through the day....trying not to be too much of a pest when he's studying
• taco night!! (dinner made, eaten and cleaned up after)
• playing online a little and wondering where the day went

I got my taxes done!
Took some pictures of a birds nest in the tree in front of my home
Cleaned up limbs from the tree I trimmed
Took a video of the bird nest occupants
Unloaded my truck
Fed the dogs
3 failed attempt of more videos of just hatched baby birdies
posted good video on FB
Let the dogs out
Successful video of baby birdies (I got up on a stump to be able to get a ready good video.)
Asked for help uploading a picture in the Butch Hands Thread.
Trip to Home Depot to buy bird feeder, feed and bird bath.
Filled up feeder and bath an set near tree where the nest is located.
Uploaded more pictures on FB

Chilling the rest of the evening and playing in the arcade...Mahjong!!

Got my garden ready, plants ready...then it rained..will plant over the next few days. Also had dinner with a great friend/great musician/former colleague...good day!

I got such a tickle when I read this. I promise, no froggies, tadpoles or their cousins were hurt in his project ... *chuckles*... when I was Blade's roommate, I was known for saving froggies and turtles from the road or doggies. The frog pond was named so because the rut in driveway was so deep. ..there's froggies EVERYWHERE around here...even need to be careful mowing lawn....I now live a mile away and have my very own frog pond filled with tadpoles and spring peepers. .as often as possible, I accomplish a nice walk to that pond. .... poor Blade has spent two days shoveling gravel into his drive. ... but we save all froggies from harm. We LOVE froggies 'cause they eat all the 'skeeters!!

I realised that my personal ethics concerning mobile phones were interfering with business...

... so I went out, bit the bullet and bought an iPhone 4S, plus fabric-covered argyle case. Nobody can ever complain now that I'm late to interview someone because I'm stuck waiting for a train... they'll be getting a phone call.

Edit: Oh, and smashed myself in for a haircut. I refuse to attend my best friend's baptism with hair like a hayrick.

Today:

• coffee for me, tea for Rooster
• toast from homemade cheese bread for both of us
• cleaned the pool
• fed and watered critters
• unloaded and reloaded dishwasher
• wiped down counters and stove top
• took dog to dog beach
• walked about 4 miles in wet sand and watched dogs play
• shampooed the dog with antibacterial shampoo....the little rash is clearing up nicely
• took a long hot shower
• cornstarch "powdered" the dog's rash
• took Rooster to lunch at Olive Garden since our first choice was no longer around
• bought him the exact sandals he was hoping to find...in a size bigger than I can even imagine
• went to Pier 1 and Bed, Bath & Beyond....just getting ideas for Rooster's game room furnishings
• watched Dr Who episodes and shared a bowl of popcorn with the kiddo
• went grocery shopping (didn't I JUST do that the other day?)
• made dinner (cheating....picked up already cooked chicken tenderloins at the store, added leftover mashed potatoes and steamed some green beans for a 5 minute dinner prep)
• put all the groceries away while dinner was coming together
• talked to my honey and acted as writing consultant
• soon to consider a nice cup of tea.....as soon as I decide to get my feet off the coffee table

That's a good start to the day, right?

Ate breakkie, loaded the dishwasher, grimaced at all the food the housemate and his friends left out overnight on the counter, talked with luv, listened to music, putzed online, got ready and went to work, stayed late and scrubbed floors (Yay. Aren't you all jealous of the glamorous life I lead?), ran some errands and shopped, talked to luv, checked mail, unloaded car, ate dinner with the housemate, watered and fed my plant, put some more stuff in the dishwasher, did a load of laundry, snacked on sweets, played online some more and I'm about to get off here and go talk to my honey again.
