I am such a Cheap Bastard that I......

* have not paid for a hair cut in over 15 years

* consider dumpster diving "alley shopping"

*wring out the wine bottle

*reroll my cigerette butts & other peoples (on occasion)

*wait untill after Valentines Day is over to buy my girl a box of chocolates..........fortunately for me she approves

*can't top the first post of wax thru cheese cloth, but let me think a while!!!!

I'd rather duct tape mah boots back together than to spend money on new ones.

And don't think for a minute that I won't go ahead and grab some of that
'one day I'll use this' piece of material {see Hoarders thread} to patch
the bottoms of mah biggo puffy slippers up.

I am with you on that one.......except I am lucky to have hella cheap shoe repair in my home town.......years ago I visited my folks & brought my fav pair of boots to them it would have cost me over a $100 & plus to fix them where I lived......$5 later I had nice all but new polished steel toe zipups bac in my life.......all hail Cole's Shoe Store in Northern Maine!!!!!

It kinda peeves me that they've prettied up a lot of our cheap bastidom and now call it "recycling".

And yes Love-of-My-Life, full-price chocolates are SUCH a waste! If WE aren't a match made in heaven......well.......

I had really hoped that Christie would be good with clippers. Coming from a home with a military dad and a son, one could only hope.

After seeing ours doggies "mommy haircuts"

we both decided it best for me to take my ass to supercuts every couple of weeks and teach the lil haircutter girl, that "yes, I really do want it that short".

The only thing worse than the mommy cuts are the ones I tried to do myself. i thought that the whole friar tuck monk with circle in middle of head thing would be cool once. em.. not so very much...
