My parents are/were all about the bench seat. We were a Honda family, but they had to change to Ford Tauruses and then Buick as they got older b/c the bucket seats hurt their back! My Dad says that the cars don't last as long (I am proud to be a part of a "drive 'em til they die" family), but at least they are comfortable!

comfy is a plus
but
there is nothing like a good road trip with a special someone snuggled close on a bench seat
the pacers did not have an annoying 3rd person safety belt in the way either
