My Best Femme's daughter competing in the 25th Annual We The People competition http://new.civiced.org/national-finals-2012 she was told by a retired Oregon Supreme Court justice "that is just marvelous" after she delivered one of her speeches and finished the Q&A.
edited to add: She and another boy on her team (who also has two-moms) defended gay marriage in one of their speeches before the judges. C'mon Massachusetts, get through to the finals.

When waking up this morning: finding one puppy cuddled tight to my chest with his head on my arm...and the other puppy cuddled tight to my back, at first I thought her head was pressed against my shoulder but reached around to find she was upside down with her back feet at my shoulder and her head buried under the blankets... I was a puppy sandwich! They were cuddled so tight that I couldn't roll over!
After a long day of busting my ass...waking up from a nap, to watch the youngest puppy tucked under my arm, laying on her back and stretching her front legs up in the air like it was the best stretch ever! I love my pups and will miss them very much this week! |
