Butch/Femme Socials PICNIC! July 21st 1-4 p.m.
Bring the kids, bring the single friends, bring your summer self!
Saturday, July 21st 1-4 p.m. Exact location: Grand Avenue to Staten in Oakland. Take Grand Avenue and turn onto Staten towards the lake. At the T intersection turn left and go about a 1/4 block and look for the Butch/Femme Socials banner. (kiddie park/restooms are on your right) Near 19th St. BART but quite a walk so check: www.511.org, for bus, there is a direct bus to Grand Avenue & Staten from S.F., the NL. What to bring: your own lunch/drinks, chair, folding table if you can but we'll have some too. Don't plan on having access to a bbq pit. There will be some kids at this event so please mind the bbq pits if you bring one. You can buy a sandwich lunch on Grand & Bellevue at Grand Lake Coffee, 440 Grand Avenue (two blocks away). [WATCH THE METERS!] Parking best on Staten which curves around into Bellevue AND on Grand Avenue. EVERYONE WELCOME! All ages. See you there! Rope and Toughy |
