She asked him in, gave him a beer and came to get me. When she told me he was there, I asked her where and she said he was waiting for me in the living room. I was worried she'd said something stupid to him because she was pretty messed up! I ran out of the bathroom and straight into him (practically) and he laughed because he thought I was running to meet him! The outcome--we had a great dinner, a few months of flirting and then left it alone...it was a difficult time for me and an LDR wasn't what I needed at the time. We are still friends and he teased me mercilessly about running out to meet him for years. If he ever reads this, he may do so again...oh well.
