Life....I'm 43 and after so much hard work have very little to show for it. I have 3 kids, my health and most of my teeth. And that's about it. I'm not suicidal, but what's the point of struggling anymore? I never get what I want. I barely get what I need. No matter what I do, I do not get ahead so why try?
Yes that was rhetorical. Please don't try and cheer me up. I'm trying to deal with my reality the best way I know how.

I'm disappointed in people who show a total lack of regard for someone's health, safety and adult responsibilities. Where is the line in the sand?

I am still on my current depts schedule. I was told in three weeks I would transfer to my new job, if not sooner. It is now that 3 weeks! Well we are undoubtedly busy this week and a couple other people gave their 2 weeks notice so they are out. I have been moved from mornings to nights. I guess i will just go with the flow, get back into the groove of nights and get ready for my transfer and career change next week, while trying to enjoy my last few days and my coworkers.

The best way to handle disappointments is to know it will get better and look at the positives!

A friend that I've known for quite a while.
I also thought pretty highly of this person.
Although unfortunately...I now believe that I was wrong in that regard.

I am so sick and tired of the unending acts of stupidity and cruelty against animals we human animals perpetrate on them.

Today my friend sent me photos of her yearling horse her EX decided to suddenly give back to her.

He didnt bother to tell her the filly went thru a fence...

a month ago

and no vet was called

and the wounds were down to the bone

and the girl was in obvious suffering

and her legs and chest were so infected the puss was oozing out of the wounds and dripping on the floor.

it was another act of vengeance against her by her EX.

the horse will live. But only because she is somewhat of a miracle worker with horses.

I however, want my pink rifle NOW
